The mission of Sound RVA is to provide opportunities for visitors to discover and celebrate the creative talents of Richmond artists and musicians. The creators of Sound RVA believe that art and music are powerful forces for good in the world, so we are committed to making a positive difference in Richmond by presenting local art and music. We will achieve our mission by:
• Offering art and music education programs for children and adults
• Supporting local artists and musicians
• Hosting events plus festivals and showcases
• Promoting music in the community
We believe that art and music bring people together, inspire creativity, and promote healing. We are committed to making Richmond a more well known city for its artists and musicians.

Jon Greenberg's Jazz Warriors
The Jazz Warriors began as an opening act for national acts Paquito De Rivera, Ramsey Lewis and FourPlay at Christopher Newport University’s 2008 Ella Fitzgerald Jazz Festival. Over the years, Jazz Warriors performances have morphed into an educational showcase for 100+ years of American Jazz music.
